Applications Cross-linkable semi-conductive compound for conductor and bonded insulation shielding of medium voltage power cables with rated voltage up to 35kV Description LUTENE ® XL2808BK has an excellent electrical properties and assists in obtaining a minimum shrinkback on aluminum conductor, especially solid conductor. LUTENE ® XL2808BK is specifically developed to provide a smooth surface yielding a more perfect interface between the extruded shield and the insulation. LUTENE ® XL2808BK has stable volume resistivity characteristics at elevated temperatures and is formulated with a polymer system that has demonstrated compatibility with copper conductor.
