| This is a black colored cast nylon type 6 that exhibits more UV resistance than TECAST® T Natural, and is therefore much better suited for outdoor applications than our other standard grade formulations. The material has good wear and abrasion resistance and offers a good mix of mechanical properties. TECAST® T Black provides durability and economy in a wide range of indoor and outdoor industrial wear applications such as bushings, bearings, thrust washers, wear pads, sheaves, rollers, gears and sprockets. It is ideal for construction and farm equipment, waste water treatment, pulp and paper processing and other industrial equipment.
