| AXELERON™ CX A-0012 NT CPD is a masterbatch for use as a nucleating agent in gas-injection applications. It is specially designed for easy incorporation into our insulation compound (“CPD”) AXELERON™ CX 6944 NT CPD HDPE and AXELERON™ CX 1253 NT CPD LDPE. When used correctly, it allows the formation of small, uniformly distributed cells. The masterbatch is a 10% concentrate of an exothermic chemical blowing agent in a high pressure LDPE base resin. It should be used at 0.1 to 0.3% nucleating agent or 1-3% masterbatch concentration. Typical applications include CATV drop cable type 59, 6, 7 and 11.&& |
