Description Made from high crystalline PP, Hanwha Total’s compound PP TH54I, TH74I, TB54I feature superior flexural modulus, surface hardness and tensile strength. They are very effective in reducing material weight. Weight Reduction: Superior mechanical properties – Thin-wall product development – Lighter material weight – PP+G/F grade substitution Improved recycling. Primary uses include those for shrouds, temperature valves and air cleaner housings. Improvement in the recycling of these products has been accomplished by substituting Nylon+G/F or PP+G/F due to their superior properties. These products are ideally suited for use in engines and air-conditioning system parts due to exceptional heat-resistance. Characteristics Manufactured from high-crystalline PP: Superior mechanical properties including flexural modulus and surface hardness Remarkable processability due to low shear stress and viscosity at high shear rates, such as in injection molding work. Reduces cooling time and improves productivity due to highcry stallization speed unique to high-crystalline PP. Performs significantly better than other compound PP due to improved heat-resistance and flexural modulus Applications Engines and air-conditioning system parts; Shrouds , air cleaners, temperature valves; Heat/light-resistance, Prevents part deformation and discoloration caused by interior heat in closed spaces such as in automobile engines. Anti-static characteristics Prevents the static electricity that can affect automobile electronic systems. Superior processability and scratch-resistance, Superior processability will enhance product finish, while the high crystalline PP increases scratch- and heat-resistance.
