Eastman Tritan™ DX4000 is an amorphous copolyester with excellent appearance and clarity. Its most outstanding features are excellent heat and chemical resistance, toughness, and hydrolytic stability. The chemical resistance of Eastman Tritan™ DX4000 make it an ideal polymer solution for beverageware and small appliance applications where sunscreen/essential oil, citrus, and alcohol resistance are needed in order to maintain clarity and appearance. In addition, the outstanding chemical resistance and hydrolytic stability of Tritan™ DX4000 copolyester delivers enhanced durability in the heat, humidity and aggressive chemical environment in both residential and commercial dishwashers.
