This is a food grade PET copolymer resin designed for the water container market. The low degree of crystallinity and heat of fusion provides clarity and results in energy savings and regeneration of acetaldehyde during the downstream processing. The low acetaldehyde content helps to retain aroma and color of the filled materials. OCTAL PET WG 02 copolymer resin is considered safe for food packaging applications based on all compliance to USA FDA regulation CFR 21 section 177.1630, EU regulation 10/2011, EC Directive 94/62/EC and the CONEG regulations (USA/CANADA) for heavy metal content.&&
