About
Bayfit SA 511 is a system for producing flexible polyurethane foam used as an acoustic countermeasure in various applications including carpet backing, dash insulators, etc. This foam is formulated to meet the necessary adhesive requirements between substrate materials and polyurethane foam, along with NAFTA OEM physical property specifications. This special formulation may be used with either open pour or closed pour mold filling techniques. Bayfit SA 511 is available as a two-component polyurethane system from Covestro. As with any product, use of Bayfit SA 511 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.&&
