About |

DW 482P is a porous film produced from skived Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW). The process yields a highly uniform pore structure in the x, y, and z directions. The porous film has made hydrophilic by incorporating a surfactant into the porous structure. DW 482P has an open cell, tortuous path, with a porosity up to 35%. Application areas would include liquid and air filtration, vents, diagnostics, wicks, and support media for finer membrane structures, where porosity, chemical inertness, and mechanical strength are important.&& |
