“Jampilen HP554P” is a high Fluidity polypropylene homopolymer for the production of fine denier staple fiber with improved thenno-bonding ability for nonwoven fabrics. The product exhibits excellent antigasfading properties. “Jampilen HP554P” offers outstanding process stability and spinning behavior on short-spinning lines and some specific long-spinning lines. The thermal-bonding ability is high and allows the production of nonwoven fabrics with higher tear strength or with lower weight per square meter for the same strength. The fabrics made with “Jampilen HP554P” are characterized by softness, textile-like appearance and high tear resistance. The typical applications are overstock for diapers, feminine care products, thermal-bonded nonwovens and incontinence pads. Other applications are wipes, filters and fabrics for the clothing and fumiture industry.
