Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 is a Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) material. It is available in Latin America for blow molding. Important attributes of Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 are: Clarity Eco-Friendly/Green Food Contact Acceptable Good Dimensional Stability Typical applications include: Containers Medical/Healthcare Bottles Food Contact Applications Packaging&&Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 is designed to offer exceptional performance in hot-fill and pasteurized container applications. It has a nominal intrinsic viscosity of 0.82 dl/g. Packaging made from Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 has excellent clarity and is noted for its dimensional stability, which prevents shrinkage and expansion of the container, even after post-fill heat treatment. Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 is used successfully in heat-set hot-fill bottles for juice, teas, sports drinks, and foods. Polyclear® Preserve PET 2201 is also used successfully in pasteurized bottles for beer, flavored alcoholic beverages, and other carbonated beverages. This polymer complies with the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act for certain food contact applications. Please contact Auriga Polymers Inc. for specific FDA clearances. Containers made from Auriga Polymers Inc. PET are lightweight, have excellent clarity, and are shatterproof. With the important advantage of being totally recyclable, PET is becoming the packaging material of choice.&& |
