Pro-fax EP315J low melt flow, electrical grade polypropylene copolymer resin has outstanding toughness, flex-life and abrasion resistance. This resin demonstrates good processing behavior and is tailored for trouble-free production of primary cable insulation, especially filled telephone cable because its unique stabilizer system resists extraction by petroleum-jelly base filling compounds. Because of its ease of processing and resultant low operating pressures, Pro-fax EP315J resin keeps wire draw to a minimum and consequently has been the preferred resin for 24 and 26 AWG wire.
