Is a commercial name for thermoplastic elastomers (TPE – S) based on SBS (styrene – butadiene – styrene) block copolymers, gathered with mixing SBS. elastomers with polystyroles (GPPS, HIPS, EVA). Depending upon surface appearance and phisical characteristics can be used for all kinds of injectionmoulded soles. Resistance to acid, bases and all aqueous solutions is excellent. Resistance to alcohol and glycols is medium good. Resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, fat and of oil is bad. All “SOLPLASTS” have a good electric-volume resistance: thats more then 1e12 ohm-cm. For coloring masters are used on a polyolefine base (PE, EVA).
