Is a commercial name for thermoplastic elastomers (TPE – S) based on SBS, SEBS (styrene – butadiene – styrene; styrene – ethilene butadiene – styrene) block copolymers, gathered with mixing SBS, SEBS, … elastomers with polyolefines such as PP, PE, EVA, … Resistance to acid, bases and all aqueous solutions is excellent. Resistance to alcohol and glycols is medium good. Resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, fat and of oil is bad. Resistace round series upwards loosely increases. All “SOLPLASTS” have a good electric-volume resistance: thats more then 1e12 ohm-cm. For coloring masters are used on a polyolefine base (PE, PP, EVA). SERIES 8000 Technical compaund on SBS + SEBS block copolymers base; Different phisical characteristics and optics considering purpose of use. Work temperature between – 50 in + 60°C, very shortly up to +80°C For aplication with higher coloral stability of the product under light exposure.
