TABOND 3043 is HDPE modified with maleic anhydride functional groups which promote bonding with different materials like polar polymers, metals and surface treated glass. Characteristics: Strong adhesion to aminosilane treated glass, Nylon, EVOH, PET, PBT, PC, aluminium, brass and steel. Adhesion durability Polyolefin like properties and processing Applications Tube co-extrusion – PE with PA or EVAL Blow moulding co-extrusion – PE with PA or EVOH Sheet co-extrusion – PE with PA, EVAL, PET, PBT, PP Bonding agent for extrusion coating of aluminium or steel with PE (also for steel coated with epoxy resin) Chemical coupling agent for PE composites and Wire & Cable compounds containing fillers such as ATH, MG(OH)2 , glassfiber etc. (recommended concentration 1.5-5%) Compatibilizer for alloys of PE with PA, EVOH, PET, PP or PBT (recommended concentration 2-5%). Additive for recycling of polyolefin’s with polar polymers.&&
