Polystyrene 525L: Is a crystal polystyrene with low residuals that is ideally suited for blending with clear elastomers for extrusion-thermoforming applications that require low odor and taste. Total Petrochemicals 525L can also be used as a cap layer for coextrusion applications that require a glossy finish, or in injection molding. Injection molding applications such as medical and laboratory parts, tumblers and jewel boxes demonstrate the polymer’s ability to be molded with minimal stresses and fast cycles.
