About
Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1043 is a high styrene content SEBS. It can be easily blended with PS and PPE. It is used as a compatibilizer of styrenic resin/olefinic resin blends. It is also suited as an impact modifier of cyclo olefin polymer (COP) and cyclo olefin copolymer (COC). Applications: PS(GPPS, HIPS)/PP alloy compatibilizer; preserves PS processability while increasing resistance to heat and oil, and thus used for food containers and trays, and in place of ABS. Effective as additive to PS for recycling. Also effective as modifier for enhancement of SAN, ABS, PPE, and other resins. E.g. microwavable food containers, inner laminate films for lunch boxes and trays, portioned food containers.&&
