Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P1500 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer. It is good as a base polymer for pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA). It has excellent compatibility with a variety of tackifiers. With blending tackifier and white oil, it provides solvent-borne as well as hot-melt adhesives. It is particularly suitable for hot-melt adhesive with low viscosity and good thermal stability. Applications: Primarily for low-viscosity hot-melt adhesives, e.g. hot-melt adhesives for sanitary goods. Superior to SBS in thermal stability. Reduced viscosity variance and discoloration. Compatible with full range of tackifiers, enabling broader range and freedom in selection of co-components and formulations than SBS or SEBS.&& |
